Lotus Design's powerful, cord-free AND rechargeable “Lotus Light” is now brighter than ever before!
The Lotus Light still uses the latest advances in lighting and rechargeable battery technology to produce a flood of pure white light that is easy on your eyes. However, the light itself is now produced by 17 state-of-the-art LEDs (light emitting diodes)! These LEDs don’t get hot, and with a service life rating of over 100,000 hours, they will never need replacing. The illumination provided by this Lotus Light is now stronger than a 40 watt electric bulb. It will produce this amount of light without dimming for 7 hours, and it will illuminate 2 full pages of music. The clamp provided allows you to clip the light to any music stand up to 3/4" thick, and a slim 9” flexible arm allows you to direct the light beam exactly where you want it.
The Lotus Light is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. You can recharge the light at any time, just like a cell phone, and it only takes one hour to recharge. A “universal switching” power supply is included so you can use and recharge your light anywhere in the world.
The Lotus Light, including the battery, weighs just a little over 8 ounces. A travel pouch is also included.
I just purchased the Lotus Light II and finally I have found a great rechargeable lamp. The light is strong, clear white and easily illuminates 2 large pages. The lamp is really light weight which means it clips to my folding aluminum stand with no trouble and when you are lugging a harp around, the less weight, the better! It packs up flat and goes into this cool little black fleece bag which could probably carry a few other small items. The adapter/charger is small and very light , which is another good thing, as many adapters are quite big and heavy. Also the charge really lasts. To test it, I put the light on when I went to bed and when I got up in the morning it was still shining brightly! I have borrowed or bought all sorts of lamps in my quest to get good lighting and most of them are just not bright enough to light a music stand in a dark restaurant or dim corner. I had resorted to placing 4 sets of battery powered lights on my stand to get enough light for an evening. The trouble with this was, not only did my stand resemble something from "Close Encounters" but I was going through batteries like crazy. The Lotus light has solved all of these problems....bright, light-weight, rechargeable, and customer service is excellent. They are very helpful if you have any questions. Definitely worth the investment.
