Brook was a church organist/pianist for over 25 years. He fulfilled a life-long desire to play the harp when he began studying harp in his mid 30's with Shirley Jennings at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. He played in hospice settings, church, and nursing homes. He completed a project in music therapy for his Master's thesis using harp therapy with adults with cognitive impairments who also suffer from Alzheimer's Disease. Brook passed away in 2020.
