Joyce Rice, a harpist since age 4, is a graduate of Wellesley College with a degree in music. I'm proud to say that she worked at the Sylvia Woods Harp Center in 1992 while she was living in Southern California. Since 1999 Joyce has been the guiding force behind the website called Harp Spectrum, at www.harpspectrum.org. With the motto "Exploring the World of the Harp," the website presents informative articles by experts in classical, folk, and historical harps and their music, as well as by harp makers, historians, and even makers of "non-harps"!
