Beginning in 1954, passionate in his love for the instrument, Victor Salvi created his first harp. In 1957 Mr. Salvi established Salvi Harps, a company devoted to the integration of old-world craftsmanship with the continuing technological advancements of modern day. This quest for contemporary evolution and artistic expression has placed Salvi Harps at the forefront of innovative harp design.
That care and craftsmanship taken in the construction of a Salvi pedal harp can equally be found in their quality line of lever harps.
Salvi lever harps are made of Maple wood, with Spruce used for the soundboard, creating an instrument with generous volume and full, warm tone. The Livia and Egan models are fitted with Performance levers. The Ana model is fitted with Salvi's nickel-plated sharpening levers.
Most Salvi lever harps are available in the following finishes: Each harp page will show which finishes are available for that particular model. Special order finishes may be available upon request. Each harp comes with a dust cover and tuning key. All new Salvi lever harps now carry a 3-year limited warranty. Lever harps purchased before 1/1/05 carry a 1-year limited warranty. Both warranties cover against defects in material and workmanship. In addition, within 5 years of the initial purchase date, the original owner of any Salvi lever harp can trade-in their lever harp towards a new Salvi pedal harp.
