Beginning in 1954, passionate in his love for the instrument, Victor Salvi created his first harp. In 1957 Mr. Salvi established Salvi Harps, a company devoted to the integration of old-world craftsmanship with the continuing technological advancements of modern day. This quest for contemporary evolution and artistic expression has placed Salvi Harps at the forefront of innovative harp design.
The sound quality of a Salvi harp is characterized by its deep, rich, melodic tone. A resonance, full and even, found throughout orchestras and concert halls all over the world.
Salvi harps are made from the finest solid White Maple, a wood known for its stability and resilience. Hand-selected European Spruce from Northern Italy is chosen for the soundboard, creating a resonance in the instrument which is both rich and expressive in tone.

Special order finishes may be available upon request. Each harp comes with a dust cover and tuning key. All new Salvi pedal harps now carry a 5-year limited warranty. 3/4-size harps purchased before 1/1/05 carry a 3-year limited warranty. Both warranties cover against defects in material and workmanship. In addition, Salvi Harps offers all newly purchased pedal harps a free warranty check-up and regulation within one year of original purchase. If you are the original owner of either a Salvi or Lyon & Healy lever harp, you may wish to take advantage of our trade-in policy. Within 5 years of the initial purchase date, the original owner of either a Lyon & Healy or Salvi lever harp can trade-in their harp towards a new pedal harp. For lever harps purchased before December 31, 2004, these harps can be traded-in towards a pedal harp by either Lyon & Healy or Salvi. For lever harps purchased after January 1, 2005, a Salvi lever harp may only be traded-in towards a Salvi pedal harp, and a Lyon & Healy lever harp may only be traded-in towards a Lyon & Healy pedal harp.
