The Sylvia Woods Harp Center Harp Showroom in Southern California

Our new Southern California harp showroom is now open, by appointment, in the city of La Crescenta. We feature harps by Dusty Strings and Lyon & Healy Harps, two of the largest and most distinguished harpmakers in the world today. We also carry the Triplett Christina Therapy Harp, and the Harpsicle line.

We are in the town of La Crescenta, about 20 minutes north of downtown Los Angeles, and about 10 minutes north of our previous store location. See below for our address and driving directions.

Since we no longer have regular store hours, there may be no one available to help you if you arrive without an appointment. Please contact us before your visit to avoid dissappointment. We will assure you personal service and attention, assisted by one of our harp specialists, during your visit to our showroom.

We are on Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, California, between the Pennsylvania Avenue and La Crescenta Avenue exits off the 210 Freeway.

From our previous store in Glendale (which is now closed)
Turn left out of our parking lot onto Glendale Avenue.
Turn right at the 2nd signal which is Mountain.
Turn left at the 3rd signal to get onto the 2 Freeway north.
Get into the left lane, and in about 3 miles, take the 210 Freeway west.
Exit at La Crescenta Avenue (Exit #17B).
At the top of the off-ramp, turn right on La Crescenta Avenue.
Turn left at the 2nd signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
We are near the end of the 3rd block on the left at 2946 "B" Foothill Blvd. (If you get to Office Depot, you just passed us!) You can park in our parking lot, or there is lots of street parking.

From the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Option #1
Take the 405 Freeway north, to the 101 Freeway south, to the 134 Freeway east, to the 2 Freeway north.
Get into the left lane, and in about 3 miles, take the 210 Freeway west.
Exit at La Crescenta Avenue (Exit #17B).
At the top of the off-ramp, turn right on La Crescenta Avenue.
Turn left at the 2nd signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
We are near the end of the 3rd block on the left at 2946 "B" Foothill Blvd. (If you get to Office Depot, you just passed us!) You can park in our parking lot, or there is lots of street parking.
If there is no traffic, it should take you about 45 minutes to get to our showroom from LAX.

From the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Option #2
Take the 105 Freeway east, to the 110 Freeway north.
In about 12 miles, after you go through downtown LA and you get to the tunnels, be in the left lane, and take the 5 Freeway north.
In 1 mile, take the 2 Freeway north towards Glendale.
After about 7 miles, be in the left lane and take the 210 Freeway west.
Exit at La Crescenta Avenue (Exit #17B).
At the top of the off-ramp, turn right on La Crescenta Avenue.
Turn left at the 2nd signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
We are near the end of the 3rd block on the left at 2946 "B" Foothill Blvd. (If you get to Office Depot, you just passed us!) You can park in our parking lot, or there is lots of street parking.
If there is no traffic, it should take you about 45 minutes to get to our showroom from LAX.

From the Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena Airport
Take the 5 Freeway south to the 134 Freeway east, to the 2 Freeway north.
Get into the left lane, and in about 3 miles, take the 210 Freeway west.
Exit at La Crescenta Avenue (Exit #17B).
At the top of the off-ramp, turn right on La Crescenta Avenue.
Turn left at the 2nd signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
We are near the end of the 3rd block on the left at 2946 "B" Foothill Blvd. (If you get to Office Depot, you just passed us!) You can park in our parking lot, or there is lots of street parking. If there is no traffic, it should take you about 20 minutes to get to our store from the airport.

From downtown Los Angeles
Take the 110 Freeway north. When you get to the tunnels, be in the left lane, and take the 5 Freeway north.

Option #1
Take 101 Freeway south, to the 134 Freeway east, to the 2 Freeway north.

At the top of the off-ramp, turn right on La Crescenta Avenue.
Turn left at the 2nd signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
We are near the end of the 3rd block on the left at 2946 "B" Foothill Blvd. (If you get to Office Depot, you just passed us!) You can park in our parking lot, or there is lots of street parking.
If there is no traffic, it should take you about 90 minutes to 2 hours minutes to get to our showroom from Santa Barbara.

From Santa Barbara
Option #2
Take 101 Freeway south.
Take The 23 Freeway north toward Fillmore.
This will turn into the 118 Freeway east.
In approximately 27 miles, take the left-hand merge onto the 210 Freeway east towards Pasadena.
In about 11 miles, take the Pennsylvania Ave exit (Exit #17A).
At the bottom of the offramp turn left and go up the hill.
Turn right at the signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
We are in the 4th block on the right side at 2946 "B" Foothill Blvd. (We are in the block just past the Office Depot.) You can park in our parking lot, or there is lots of street parking.
If there is no traffic, it should take you about 90 minutes to 2 hours minutes to get to our showroom from Santa Barbara.

From central or northern California
Take the 5 Freeway south, to the 210 Freeway east towards Pasadena.
In about 17 miles, take the Pennsylvania Ave exit (Exit #17A).
At the bottom of the offramp turn left and go up the hill.
Turn right at the signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
We are in the 4th block on the right side at 2946 "B" Foothill Blvd. (We are in the block just past the Office Depot.) You can park in our parking lot, or there is lots of street parking.

From Orange County, San Diego, or other points south of Los Angeles
Take the 5 Freeway north, to the 2 Freeway north towards Glendale.
After about 7 miles, be in the left lane and take the 210 Freeway west.
Exit at La Crescenta Avenue (Exit #17B).
At the top of the off-ramp, turn right on La Crescenta Avenue.
Turn left at the 2nd signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
We are near the end of the 3rd block on the left at 2946 "B" Foothill Blvd. (If you get to Office Depot, you just passed us!) You can park in our parking lot, or there is lots of street parking.

From San Bernardino or other points east of Los Angeles
Take the 10 Freeway west, to the 210 Freeway west.
When you get to Pasadena, stay in the right hand lanes and continue on the 210 Freeway west. (Do NOT take the left lanes to the 134 Freeway.)
In about 7 miles, take the La Crescenta Avenue exit (Exit #17B).
At the top of the off-ramp, turn right on La Crescenta Avenue.
Turn left at the 2nd signal, which is Foothill Blvd.
