#1. You can change the speed without changing the pitch. So, if you’re learning a piece, you can slow it down to hear the notes more clearly, and play along at a slower speed.
#2. Or, you can change the pitch of a piece by up to 6 half-steps up or down without changing the speed. For example, if the piece is in the key of F and you want to play along with it in G, you can do that without changing the speed of the music.
Another useful learning feature is the loop: you can set start and stop points and the player will repeat only that section of the music. This versatile MP3 player also includes a metronome, line out for speakers or headphones (not included), and a variety of effects. The built-in electronic tuner is a useful feature, even though it doesn’t hear the highest strings of the harp.
