These 35 harp arrangements include pieces from all of the three musics required of ancient harpers: the music of mirth, the music of sorrow, and the music of sleep. Most of these tunes appear on Jo's CDs, including 18 from The Three Musics CD and 12 from A Waulking Tour of Scotland CD . Also included are parts for other instruments of 12 of the tunes, and lyrics for 10 of them. All but one are in C or sharp keys. For advanced-beginner to intermediate harpists. Drawing on her Scottish heritage and on her experiences from several trips to the British Isles, Jo Morrison paints a vivid image of the Celtic world through her performances. Using exciting, upbeat dance tunes and evocative, emotional airs, Jo touches the souls of her audiences. Jo performs with Port Righ. This Celtic music ensemble consists of Jo and her husband, Wayne, who joins Jo on shuttle pipes and vocals.

Her appearances include: Smithsonian, U.S. Capitol, Mount Vernon, Potomac Celtic Festival, Common Ground on the Hill, Strathmore Hall, American Music and Arts Festival, and Folklore Society of Greater Washington's Mini-Fest Feature Concert. In May, 2002, Jo performed (with Port Righ) at the Anam Cara artist retreat in Ireland. Jo has taught at Common Ground on the Hill, Ohio Scottish Arts School, Somerset Folk Harp Festival, and at private workshops around the country.
