It explains harmonically modulating formulas, extensions, cadenzas, and glissandi. The first 33 pages are a practical study of rules and examples co-written by Lucile Lawrence and Carlos Salzedo. The remaining 28 pages are titled 10 Fragments of Dances and Five Easy Characteristic Pieces for Harp by Salzedo. Includes excerpts from his Suite of 8 Dances (Gavotte, Menuet, Polka, Siciliana, Bolero, Seguidilla, Tango, Rumba) as well as: Waltz Accompaniment, Petite valse, Lullaby, Reverie, Carillon, Grandmother’s Spinning-Wheel, and Florentine Music Box. 61 pages.
