The music in this useful book and companion CD was arranged by Beth Kolle and Laurie Riley. The 23 pieces, chosen from classical, Celtic, and Jewish repertoire, are grouped as Preludes, Processionals, Meditations (pieces that can be used mid-ceremony), and Recessionals. The arrangements are for intermediate players, with chord symbols, but no fingerings. They are in C or sharp keys, with a few lever (or pedal) changes in some of the pieces. The introduction also gives helpful hints on how much to charge, what to wear, contracts, and a handy checklist of what to bring with you when you play for weddings. 104 pages including 40 pages of music, spiral-bound.

Laurie Riley
Laurie's pioneering work in the field of healthcare music included the founding of the Music for Healing and Transition Program in 1993, and later the development of the Basic and Advanced Clinical Musicians training programs. A professional musician since the age of ten, she also has extensive experience in clinical environments and has trained hundreds of musicians. She has written several books for the harp.

Beth Kolle
Beth Kolle was one of the first of a growing number of performers who are exploring the ancient Scandinavian music tradition with the harp. In addition to lever harp, Beth plays flutes and whistles, she also sings in Norwegian, Swedish and Gaelic. When she isn’t teaching workshops or performing solo, Beth can be found accompanying Seattle area bands Crookshank and Greensleeves. In 2006 she traveled to Norway with the Harpa 06 tour, to perform and promote the harp. She has many recordings featuring her unique combination of Gaelic and Scandinavian music, and has written several books of harp music.
