I absolutely love my Crescendo. The photos of the Crescendo don't do it any justice. The workmanship and finish are just beautiful, and the overall design is graceful and lovely. It gets many compliments! Far prettier in person, plus sturdy and well made. It's the perfect size for me to play seated in a regular chair, and it's light enough for me to easily transport it by myself. The tone is bright and clear in the upper octaves, with fullness and depth in the bass. I had been unsure about buying a harp with a laminate soundboard, but I needn't have worried. Since I bought it, I've played several other folk harps, and I've never played one I liked better than my own. My intention when I bought it was to learn on it, then sell it and get a larger harp. I still plan to get a larger harp, but I'll be keeping my Crescendo if I can. I bought it sight unseen; with guidance from the staff at Harp Center regarding which harp would fit my needs and budget best. It's a lovely, quality harp with a great sound, and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. I heartily recommend it!
