6 Kirchner Angel Greeting Cards: Harp Greeting Cards

This 5" x 7" greeting card of artwork by Raphael Kirchner, circa 1900, is reproduced by Pleiades Press. It features a harp playing angel on the front, with the artwork continuing onto the back of the card. If you open the card flat (shown below), the harpist is on the right, and the flute playing angel is on the left. The background is washed in golds and browns, and the red-headed angels are dressed in shimmering blue and green, with golden accents. This card can be used for any occasion, as the inside is blank, awaiting your own personal message. 6 cards and envelopes.

A jazz harpist based in New York City and Geneva, Park Stickney's slick technique and maverick style have brought him awards and distinction as one of this art's forerunners. A highly-acclaimed soloist, as well as founding member of various NYC -based ensembles-- from chamber music to jazz and beyond--he is a leading exponent of the harp's diversity in various genres. Currently he is also involved in a number of projects in Europe, among which are collaborations with German electro-Celtic harpist Rdiger Oppermann and Italian bassist Dino Contenti, and a visiting professorship in jazz harp at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
