Harp Description:
Created in 1918 by Lyon & Healy, the Style 17 is a traditionally-designed harp which features the elements and style reminiscent of the French Renaissance. The elegant organic detail hand carved from the top to the base of the Hard Maple column is highly decorative yet airy and legible - similar to the extraordinary illustrations seen in Parisian books of the late 16th century. Delicate bronze and gold decoration on the extended soundboard enhances the design of the column and base. The Style 17 features solid brass action plates with richly-illustrated script. The Syle 17 is available in natural (shown above) and walnut (shown below) finishes. It may also be purchased as a special order instrument in 23 karat gold leaf for an additional cost.
