Harp Description:
Created in 1918 by Lyon & Healy, the Style 17 is a traditionally-designed harp which features the elements and style reminiscent of the French Renaissance. The elegant organic detail hand carved into the top and bottom of the Hard Maple column is highly decorative but airy and legible - similar to the extraordinary illustration seen in Parisian books of the late 16th century. Delicate bronze and gold decoration on the extended soundboard enhances the design of the column and base. The Style 17 features solid brass action plates with richly-illustrated script; the Style 17 Gold features a gold-plated crown. The Style 17 Gold is hand-guilded with 23 karat gold leaf and burnished to bring out the dimension of the hand-carved wood.
The Style 17 is also available in natural and walnut finishes. Included:
