Harp Description:
A contemporary harp designed by Lyon & Healy in 1985, the Style 85 is marked by its pure elegance and its affordability. Lyon & Healy has improved on their earlier 85-E model, creating, what they refer to as, their 85-E Concertino Grand harp, making this particular model a more versatile, yet extremely affordable instrument.
Subtle in design, but equal in quality of sound and craftsmanship to other Lyon & Healy harps, the Style 85’s ornamentation is sparse, bringing focus to its fluted Hard Maple column, accenting the fluid curves in the base and showcasing the classic harmonic outline of the harp. The solid brass action plates feature restrained decoration. The new Style 85-E now includes a 7th octave C and a decal-decorated soundboard. It is available in natural (shown above), mahogany, and ebony finishes. 85 Series of Harps:
