This is one of the only Loreena McKennitt songs I'm familiar with; even if the name doesn't ring a bell, I think a lot of people would recognize the tune because it reached a high position on the Billboard charts, etc. 10-12 years ago and received a lot of radio airplay. It's a beautiful song.
To quote the introduction included with the piece:
"Although these are accurate easy to play arrangements which in their simplicity will sound lovely on their own, you will get the most out of the music if you use the printed page as a guide to doing your own personal arrangements."
This definitely describes the arrangement accurately. The melody is quite true to the recording, and the bass line definitely conveys the general feeling of the rhythm. The arrangement would probably be terrific as-is for those lucky enough to have a friend to accompany them with some kind of hand percussion instrument. However, the song has been treated here in a style typical of "easy piano" arrangements, and there is nothing particularly "harpy" about it. I think a lot of more advanced harpists might want to flesh it out a bit in places with rolled cords or glissandos or something, especially since the song itself is quite long and monotonous.
