All-Ireland Harp Champion Grainne Hambly was the Principal Harper of the Belfast Harp Orchestra. “Her harp music allows us to feel the fascination that Irish music has had on us for hundreds of years: a lively rhythm with her left hand, with perfectly timed embellishments, trills, and stops -- a mixture of heavy and light, green and gold, in short, a musical description of the island.” Grainne is truly a virtuoso playing jigs, reels, waltzes, hornpipes, and slow airs.
You can find the written music for many of Grainne's arrangements in her book Traditional Irish Music Arranged for Harp.
