Calluna , which means heather, is a Scottish group consisting of Rebecca Knorr, flute and whistles; Anna Wendy Stevenson, fiddle; Charlotte Petersen, traditional Scottish harp, or clarsach. With her comprehensive knowledge of different flute styles, Rebecca was chosen to create the syllabus for the wooden flute degree course in Scottish music at the RSAMD. Anna Wendy is a well-respected traditional fiddler, and the granddaughter of the composer Ronald Stevenson. Charlotte studied the Scottish harp, or clarsach, with Savourna Stevenson at RSAMD. Together with Catriona McKay, she is the author of four books of music for the clarsach, and has performed throughout Europe and on the BBC.
