This is one of the most enchanting recordings we’ve heard in a long time. Although we can’t understand the words she sings, as they are in the Basque language, our hearts understand the love and caring in these lovely traditional lullabies. Olatz Zugasti’s gentle voice and Celtic harp are sometimes joined by other traditional instruments in tranquil arrangements. Although these are lullabies, this recording will beautifully enhance any quiet or romantic time. (The Basque country is a small territory between Spain and France which is fighting to preserve its culture and language.)
