Deborah Henson-Conant is the most dynamic harpist on today's harp scene. In her new DVD, Invention & Alchemy, Deborah leads you on a tour through her madcap imagination, telling the tallest of truthful tales. With her solid-body electric lever harp and her electric pedal harp, Deborah wails the blues, sways to a sweet song, and jives to flamenco.
This is the CD version (including audio but no video) of the concert. It includes almost all of the DVD concert program, presented in a slightly different order. It has the feel of an old-fashioned radio show with a full orchestra, songs, music, humor, and stories. And the harp is the hero! This CD is great to listen to during that long 77:02 minute drive. Just close your eyes (unless you're driving), and you'll be transported to the performance.
See the DVD version (listed in the "Related Items" section below) for more detailed (and fun) information about this amazing concert performance.
