Two Worlds One CD by Lisa Lynne and Aryeh Frankfurter: Meditation Harp CDs

Two Worlds One is a collaboration of two harp-playing multi-instrumentalists: Lisa Lynne and Aryeh Frankfurter. Together they bring a unique blend of traditional folk and original music rooted in world folk traditions with Celtic harps, mandolins, bouzouki, viola and nyckelharpa (a rare traditional Swedish folk instrument that is both keyed and bowed, dating back 600 years).

Lisa Lynne is a Windham Hill recording artist that has sold over half a million albums of her enchanting instrumental compositions featuring her Celtic Harp. Aryeh Frankfurter is also a Celtic harpist and multi-instrumentalist. He has been delighting audiences around the globe with his evocative approach to time honored Celtic and Nordic repertoire. These two fine musicians and their harps, supported by a rich assortment of acoustic instruments, have created a graceful and heartfelt collection of timeless music.

A self-taught multi-instrumentalist from an early age, Lisa Lynne has devoted the past two decades to the Celtic harp. She has sold over half a million albums of her original music for harp on the Windham Hill and New Earth Record Labels as well as her own Lavender Sky label. Her last four album releases have placed in the top 20 of the Billboard music charts, ("Hopes & Dreams" reaching #6) as well as holding top spots in the Celtic, New Age, and world music radio airplay charts.

Lisa Lynne tours year-round, performing throughout the U.S. In addition to performing, she gives presentations on "living your dream." She is also active in music therapy. In 2002 she became the first musician-in-residence at City of Hope in Los Angeles, where she conducts the "Hands-on-harps" program for patients, staff and families. This highly successful program has received accolades and multiple grants for integrating music in cancer treatment.

Aryeh Frankfurter's uncommon approach to the Celtic harp and folk harp repertoire has gained him substantial recognition both within and outside of the Celtic harp community. Aryeh has performed in the summer of 2001 for an audience of 3400 at the amphitheatre Dalhalla in Rattvik Sweden. He is a mainstay performer at San Francisco's Ghirardelli Square. He was a workshop speaker and performer at the Harpcon 2000 held in Monterey California and has performed internationally in Sweden's oldest and largest music festival Musik Vid Siljan and at the Falum Musical Festival in the summer of 1996. Aryeh now pursues a career as a full time free lance musician performing widely throughout the San Francisco/Bay Area region of California.

Aryeh is a founding member of Azigza; a musical project which incorporates tastes of Arabic, African, Indian, Balkan and other world sounds and combines these with the hard edge drive of rock-n-roll and the elegance of classical colors. The group released their debut album "Azigza" in the summer of 2000, which has been receiving rave reviews from far corners of the globe.
