    GROOVY!

I volunteer in the healing harps group at Eisenhower Hospital in Rancho Mirage California. The patients love the music, I love playing the entire Groovy book. Today in Pre-op and Post op, the nurses were singing along and trading memories of where they were when the music was popular! Perfect. I would have paid the price of the entire book for the "Old Men", "Bookends" "Nights in White Satin" and "Since You Asked" music. I quitely sang along with each one. Thank you! You made me, the patiends and Nurses that I play for very happy

This book really filled a void in my music collection. I work with people who are very ill and many times familiar music is relaxing to them and helps them to pass the time during a long recovery process. To be able to play Puff the Magic Dragon, or Lover's Concerto really lifts their spirits! I hope that Sylvia will consider continuing with a 70's book???

    Groovy Songs of the 60's

I've had the book for several months, but it got put aside while I worked with Christmas music. Now it's being used for it's intended purpose - which is to play at the Dallas Folk Music Society's meetings. Each month there is a theme for at least our first round of music and I knew that the songs in this book would fit perfectly with the group that enjoys music from the "Hootenanny" era. Of course, February needed songs of love, and what better than "I Love How You Love Me" from the book? It went over well and I had people playing along with me on various instruments. Can't wait to try some more. There's a real wealth of just the kind of material I need! Thanks Sylvia - for a really great book!

I got this book today and played through what I had time for. Talk about the memories! Everyone who plays parties, receptions and nursing homes needs this book. If you get tired of the 30s and 40s songs (like I do), go for this one! You won't be disappointed! Bob Dylan - Elvis - Peter. Paul. and Mary - Jimmy Clanton - Petula Clark - you get the drift! Many thanks to Sylvia.

Not only is this book GROOVY, it's also NEAT, AWESOME, COOL, THE CAT'S PAJAMAS! No matter what decade you "pluck" to, this book is a fun addition to your harp music repertoire. The pop songs are a mix of slow groovin' tunes to some really upbeat foot stompin' 60's hits. Playing harp is fairly new to me and being a former flower child, this book has hit my soul.
