Setting Sun sheet music by Meg Robinson
I found this new (2011) composition by Meg Robinson to be extremely fun to play. It is in 6/8 time, with a lilting, rocking motion. It is also a great exercise for playing intervals of a 6th. Several sections are played p.d.l.t. (close to the soundboard), and the left hand plays a drone note of a single note throughout most of the piece. Although there are no fingerings marked, the repeated patterns should make fingering easy. This 3-page piece for advanced beginner to intermediate players is in the key of C, with no lever changes needed. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do!
