Selected Pieces for Harp and Flute is a collection of 8 beautiful, exuberant and challenging compositions written for Celtic harp by Shawna Selline. Three are harp solos, one is for harp and flute, and the rest can be played either as harp solos or as harp and flute duos. The music dances along the line between Baroque and Celtic style. Most of the pieces are for intermediate harp players. A few of the pieces require lever or pedal changes. The lever changes are marked in the music, but the octave they refer to is not listed. There are no fingerings. A page listing the musical terms and symbols used in the music is included. The 54 page PDF includes 37 pages of harp music, and 10 pages for flute.

Anpiel, the angel of birds, is simple and joyful in the style of Mozart. It is a harp solo, or harp and flute duo, and is perfect for a recessional. Five pages in the key of C with no lever changes.

Manx Tune is a passionate and dynamic piece based on the traditional melody Aaron Gelby. It is a 6-page harp solo in the key of A minor, with some G# lever changes.

Planxty Alan is a harp solo with a simple, wistful melody. 2 pages in the key of C with no lever changes.

Foxglove is a gentle waltz-time melody, providing a good basis for improvisation. It is a harp and flute duet in the key of C. The harp part is 5 pages, with no sharping lever changes needed.

Sea Swallow can be played as a solo, or a harp and flute duet. It has a soaring melody, intricate rhythms, with the main theme taken from Boieldieu. It is in the key of C. The harp part is 5 pages, with no sharping lever changes needed.

Quintana Roo is a challenging harp solo with rhythmic intensity and movement. It has F#s and C#s with no lever changes needed. 7 pages.

The Bells of Point Pleasant is a bright, fanciful, and elegant piece in the key of D (2 sharps) in the baroque style. It can be played as a solo, or a harp and flute duet. The harp part is 5 pages, with G# and A# lever changes.

The Secret Waltz has a sweet, lyrical melody. It can be played as a solo, or a harp and flute duet. There are also optional lyrics for singers. It is 2 pages, in the key of C, with no lever changes.
