The harps we rent are:
Dusty Strings Allegro
(26 strings): $40 per month
Triplett N-30 (30 strings) with C&F levers: $50
per month
Triplett N-30 (30 strings) with Full levers: $55
per month
(Sorry, we do
not rent larger lever harps or pedal harps.)
All rentals
require a $100 security deposit, which is refunded when the harp
is returned to the store.
Each rental
harp comes with a tuning key and soft carrying case. If you wish,
you can rent an electronic tuner with a pick-up for an additional
$5.00 per month.
You must have
a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American
Express) in order to rent a harp. We will charge your monthly
rental payment to this card at the beginning of each month. If
you wish to avoid having the monthly payment charged to this card,
be sure to send a check prior to the first of each month.
You must be
taking a minimum of two lessons per month from a professional harp
teacher in order to rent from us. You can take lessons at our
store, or we will be happy to refer you to qualified teachers in
your area. We have a wonderful teacher that uses our facilities.
Paul Baker is not only a great teacher, he is a two-time winner of
the International Pop and Jazz competition, and has performed with
several symphonies and orchestras on the west coast, including the
Pantages Theatre and the Hollywood Bowl. If you decide to take
lessons at the store, you can try out different harps at your
lessons to help you decide which harp is best for you.
You may rent
for as long as you like, however only the first three months of
rental payments can be applied toward a harp purchase. After the
first six-month period, your rental payment will increase $10.
This increase will only happen one time, and will be in effect for
the remainder of your rental.
Most
importantly,
if you have any questions while renting from us, you can always
call us for help. All of the employees at the Harp Center are
harp players and will be able to assist you with any questions or
problems you may have. It is our goal to make your harp playing
experience an enjoyable one!
If you are
interested in renting a harp, please call for availability. You
must also call to reserve a harp; sometimes we have a waiting
list.
