Shipping Information
Shipping within the USA
Our normal shipping cost within the US is $7 for your entire order (except for harps). If you are ordering a very light-weight item, you may have a choice of $3 for First Class.
We usually ship items within 24-48 hours. Many orders are shipped the same day we receive the order. However, please be aware that items ordered Friday through Sunday may not ship until Monday or Tuesday (especially UPS orders). Please keep this in mind when requesting rush delivery service.
Except for heavy items, you will normally have a choice of either UPS or Postal Service shipping.
UPS can NOT be sent to a P.O. Box address, so be sure to give us a street address if choosing this option. UPS orders are trackable, and you will be given a tracking number in the e-mail confirming that your order has been shipped. Packages shipped through the Postal Service are not trackable.
Strings and other light-weight objects
If you are only ordering a few strings, or other very light-weight objects, you may have a choice of $3 for First Class when your order is complete. If you do not see this option, then your order is too heavy for First Class, and will be shipped by Priority Mail or UPS at $7.
Harps
Harps are large and delicate items. Before we ship a harp, we will contact you to verify the order and make sure the arrangements for the shipping of the harp are correct. If you are placing an order for a harp, and you see a message saying that "no shipping methods are available," this just means that we need to speak with you about your shipping options. You can still complete your order on line. Or you can e-mail or call us. We will then calculate the shipping costs for you before we ship your harp.
Shipping to Canada and Mexico
Our normal shipping cost to Canada or Mexico is $8 for your entire order (except for harps). If you are ordering a very light-weight item, you may have a choice of $4. All orders are sent by Air Mail.
Shipping to Other Countries Outside
of the United States
We ship worldwide. Packages being shipped out of the United States
are usually shipped within 2-3 business days. For some orders, we
will calculate the shipping costs AFTER we have received your
order, based on what you have purchased and your location. If your
online order states shipping as $0.00, we will email you with the
shipping total after the order has been received. We will then
wait for your approval by email before shipping your order.
For international orders,
The Sylvia Woods Harp Center takes no responsibility for taxes,
tariffs, or duties that may be incurred. There may be an
additional charge by your country's customs office when your
package arrives. Unfortunately we have no way of knowing
whether this charge will apply, or what it would be if it does.
