All of the arrangements provided are lovely. As an intermediate player, I can manage both the "easy" and "advanced" solo arrangements included; having played it many times, the easier one has become quite leisurely to me at this point, while the more advanced version still leaves me a little flustered, if you know what I mean. My sister (a flautist) and I sometimes play the duet version together; it's a fairly simple arrangement, but it seems to make people swoon, as I suppose Canon in D always tends to do. Definitely a must-have for the lever harpist.

Did he write anything else we remember? Sylvia has taken the time to set down various versions of the Canon in D that you can play around with. If you need to learn it in a hurry, as I did, simply work with the first one. Totally perfect for weddings, wine tastings, visits to the elderly.

I have only been taking harp for less than a year and a half, but I wanted a challenge. I didn't start right into the intermediate solo arrangement of Canon in D; instead I slowly worked up to the beginner solo version. Then the transition to the harder one was easier. I can now play both with ease. It was also very enjoyable, once I figured out the advanced Canon in D solo, to play Sylvia's arrangements of Canon in G. I have played these arrangements both on my Lyon & Healy Ogden and on my teacher's pedal harp. They sound lovely on both; whether you are a harper or a harpist, you will really enjoy these wonderful arrangements."

This version of the all-time classic Pachelbel's Canon is truly great - with different versions in level(easy, advanced)or key (D,G). I love to play it, and thanks to the detailed fingerings I learned it very quickly. I can only recommend this beautiful piece - especially for people who are playing at weddings.

I love the different levels of difficulty! It's great to have options depending on your ability, the time you have, and the size of your harp. The arrangements were gorgeous!

I love playing this with my dear friend Holly who I accompany on violin, it's just one of those pieces you have to have in your repertoire! (Review originally submitted 1/7/2013.)
