I also bought this music by Sylvia which was beautifully arranged. I enjoy playing all the songs a lot.

I love to play Sylvia's Irish Melodies especially in March for St. Patrick's Day. Of course, Danny Boy is a favorite, as well as the other St. Pat's standards: (Wild Irish Rose, Irish Lullaby, When Irish Eyes are Smiling.) I love 'Tis the Last Rose of Summer. I play four of the tunes as a medley: Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms, Gentle Maiden, Has Sorrow Thy Young Days Shaded, and Down By the Salley Gardens. They blend very well together.

Very good arrangements! But before you use this book you should finish the beginner's book. Sometimes these arrangements are challenging. It is very good, that there are advanced player versions as well, so later when you improve you can keep these songs in the reperoire! I suggest this book for those who are in love with the celtic harp and irish music!"

Wonderfully accessible music book, filled with all the Irish favorites. This was my first music book that I bought after my starter book, and it was a breeze to start playing these wonderful tunes with a minimum of experience. The music in this book has also grown with me as I've gotten better, and I find them to still make for a great challenge. The companion CD was great as well, and a nice guide to better understanding musical notation.

I gave this book a "5" even though I am not sure as of yet how well I like it. I have had it for some time but have not had a chance to try it out! I am expecting great things from this book as always from Sylvia!

Even though I haven't actually started learning songs from this book yet, it looks great! I love the way the lyrics are printed underneath each song, making it easy for me to sing along while i'm playing.

I love Irish music and this book is in addition to the book of Irish Dance Tunes by Sylvia Woods that I love to play in the spring in preparation for St. Patty's Day. It's such happy music and the arrangements are terrific. Thank you for putting together this wonderful book.

Love this one. I am familiar with a lot of these tunes, so it makes more sense to me when I try to play them. Very helpful.
