Sylvia's two arrangements of "Stairway to Heaven" are the best and most playable I have played since the song rocketed to what Wikipedia calls "one of the greatest rock songs of all-time." You will have so much fun whipping them out of your music bag to grant those requests! Eyebrows will be raised, people will laugh, and you will be the hit of the party! I could not wait to get my hands on them so I downloaded the PDF files. My repertoire is now complete! :-)

The arrangement of Stairway to Heaven is absolutely wonderful. Muffling strategic notes in the bass really puts a stamp of authenticity to this piece. That the package includes easy and intermediate versions for lever harp, offers alternative bass lines for pedal harpists, and includes instructional material on how to execute muffles makes it a great value for the price. Well done, Sylvia!

'Stairway to Heaven' is one of my favourite songs - and I was so delighted to find these two arrangements as an instant download. I've been learning harp for three months (although a pianist of many years) and the easy version is fine for me. It is beautifully arranged to be accessible for a beginner AND lovely to listen to - I look forward to being able to try the intermediate option in time. Thank you, Sylvia - you have made my harp dream a reality!

When this arrangement was first released, I was tempted to order it, but didn't because I already have David Ice's arrangement for pedal harp (which is very good). However, my pedal harp is currently off getting a new base frame, and today I was looking for something new and fun to play on my rental lever harp in the meantime, so I downloaded the PDF. Wow! I've been going through the intermediate arrangement and it is excellent. Very true to the song (more so than the David Ice arrangement, which takes some liberties), and, despite the respective nature of the song, not at all redundant. Definitely a worthwhile buy.
