I always love Sylvia's arrangements. They are so playable. I have played this medley for memorial services, and in a spiritual program for Martin Luther King's birthday. The two tunes blend together nicely.

This medley has always been in my repertoire because it is easy to sing and play. The tunes are woven together seamlessly in a unique combination that Sylvia has devised. Helping folks realize their emotional life in music is a great gift. I often play in nursing homes, and life there is not always "sunny and bright." This piece offers opportunity for loneliness and sorrow to be shared among us. I suggest playing it somewhere in the middle of your program.

This is a beautiful arrangement that showcases the melodies and harmonies. The audio example does not do this arrangement justice. When played with expression it is wonderful.

I had just downloaded this and played through it once on both my lever harp and my pedal harp when I received a call to play for a funeral visitation the next day. The client requested this song as she had just lost her Mother. The fingering falls easily into the hands and there are no lever changes or pedal changes. My client was most grateful that I was able play her request. It has a beautiful haunting melody that I will use at many quiet and solemn occasions. Thank you for a beautiful arrangement.
