Julia Rosenberger learned to play various instruments at an early age at the music store run by her parents. She began playing the harp at age 12 and received a seat as a guest student (age 14) at the University of Music in Wuerzburg, Germany. She majored in harp in college with Prof. Gisèle Herbet and graduated with honors at the age of 21. She played in German orchestras and was 1st harpist of the Filarmonica Del Bajio in Guanajuato, Mexico in 1988. She performs as a soloist and in various musical formations including harp and "musical saw" with Ralph Stoevesandt. She gives harp lessons and works as a music therapist. Julia describes her compositions as "atmospheric images, dealing with feelings in natural experiences and interpersonal relationships."
