Paulette Marie Miller is a harpist, arranger, and music educator. She is a native of Los Angeles and now spends her summers in Tuscany. As a young child, she studied piano and, later, guitar, flute, and oboe. Paulette entered Cal State University Los Angeles as an oboe major. Enchanted by a demonstration on harp technique by the university's renowned teacher, Suzanne McDonald, Paulette decided to take harp lessons and soon changed her major. Since then, she has continued her studies with various harp teachers in different genres and regularly performs with a variety of Los Angeles ensembles, most notably with her husband, David, in their flute/harp duo. Paulette has worked as a music educator for the Los Angeles Unified School District and an adjunct professor at several Los Angeles area Universities. She has written and published numerous early childhood texts with Language Through Music publishing.
