After playing a number of other instruments, Sharon Thromahlen found her passion in playing the harp and teaching the harp to others. She is best known for her books of beautiful original harp tunes along with her accessible arrangements of traditional music. Sharon's melodies weave together rhythms and harmonies creating simple arrangements of music that is haunting, evocative and beautiful. She also helps run Thormahlen Harps with her husband, Dave, stringing and tuning the beautiful harps he makes and taking care of the business end of things.
