Douglas Beck loves his life of service to others. Living in Maine, Douglas exhibits all of the signs of a twenty-first-century renaissance man. Music caught his heart from a young age. He sang his first solo in church when he was four years old with his mother accompanying him on the piano. He went on to play many instruments but concentrated mostly on piano, pipe organ and harpsichord. Pursuing music degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Douglas is an engaging performer. These days the harp, singing and composing have won over Douglas' musical heart. He loves experimenting with harp sounds and putting them to paper in his arrangements and original compositions. Sharing life with others is his passion, whether it is teaching, writing and performing music, making visual art, or his work as an Episcopal priest, spiritual director, or retreat leader.
