For lever or pedal harp.
Tender Shepherd is the lullaby/round from the movie Peter Pan. The music was composed by Mark Charlap, with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh. Angi Bemiss' harp arrangement captures the childlike simplicity of the song as well as the charm of the round. The verses are played with the single melody line in the right hand, and 3 note chord patterns in the left. Then, on page 2, the music gets a bit more complex . . . and more fun . . . as the harp plays all 3 parts of the round! This arrangement is playable by advanced beginners, and includes the lyrics and chord symbols. There are no fingerings, and no lever changes are required.
Angi's unique sheet music layout gives you 2 versions of the same piece. The 2-page "Key of C" version is on one side of the 11" x 17" sheet, and the 2-page "Key of E-flat" version (in 3 flats) is on the back. Since you get BOTH versions, you'll have a perfect arrangement, no matter which way you tune your lever harp!
With the exception of the final chord, the lowest note in the C version is the F, an octave-and-a-half below middle C, and the E-flat version goes 2 notes lower, to the low E-flat.
Please note: there is no cover page on this sheet music. The image shown here was created for this website, but does not appear on the music.
