For lever or pedal harp and voice.

This scholarly work for voice and harp by Carol Wood examines the role of the harp in the works of Chaucer and two other medieval writers. Lyrics for these 13th- and 14th-century songs are in Latin and Middle English, with translations. There are two harp solos; the rest of the pieces are for voice and harp. Most of the arrangements are for intermediate harp players, but some can be played by advanced beginners. The keys range from 1 flat through 1 sharp, with no fingerings, and only a few lever or pedal changes. The vocal range is from the A below middle C up to the G that is 1½ octaves above middle C. Carol has provided excellent historical explanations of the music and the culture of the time.
