For PEDAL harp only.
J. L. Dussek (1760-1812) was surrounded by harpists throughout his life, including his mother, sister, daughter, and wife, Sophia. The majority of his compositions are for piano, although it is no wonder that he wrote several significant solos for the pedal harp. The Sonata for Harp in c minor was most likely written by Sophia herself and demands careful control of dynamics and melodic phrases. The three movements are: Allegro, Andantino, and Rondo Allegro. This version, edited by Nicanor Zabaleta, includes pedal markings and fingerings. 11 pages. For advanced pedal harpists.
