Are you unsure of which tuning wrench (tuning key) will fit the pins on your harp?
Do you have more than one harp, and are you tired of having to use multiple tuning wrenches?
If you answered "yes" to either of these questions, our Universal Harp Tuning Wrench is the answer!
Created by Dusty Strings (with encouragement from the Sylvia Woods Harp Center), this tuning wrench is amazing! This extremely useful wrench has an easily adjustable tip that will fit the tuning pins on any harp. Pedal harps, lever harps, even antique harps can now all be tuned with the same wrench. No more searching for a source for a lost wrench! No more using wrenches that almost fit! No more chewing up your tuning pins with socket wrenches or pliers! Using the same ergonomic handle as the Dusty Strings maple custom harp wrench, the Universal Wrench is comfortable in the hand, looks great, and works like a charm.
Adjustable range: .160" (4mm) to .236" (6mm)
Important Notes: This wrench is meant for standard, square-headed harp pins which go all the way through the neck of the harp and stick out on both sides.
Some harps (Harpsicles, for example) use zither pins instead, which only stick out on one side of the neck. The Universal harp wrench will not work well with zither pins. For harps with zither pins, purchase the Wooden Tuning Wrench for Zither Pins.
This Universal Wrench also does not fit pins that have a non-square or flattened head (see photo A),
or pins that have a tapered head (see photo B).
