What is a fake book? Fake books are music books that include the melody line, lyrics and chord symbols, without accompaniment. You make your own arrangements using the melody and the chords. Fake books are great for pedal harp, piano, voice, guitar, and most instruments. Advanced lever harp players will find some pieces playable on their harps, although many pieces may require lever changes.
PLEASE NOTE: Fake books are NOT returnable. Please be sure you understand what a fake book is and you are sure that this is what you want before ordering. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com before you order this fake book.
This popular series of easy fake books have large notation with simplified harmonies and melodies. As with all fake books, the melody, chord symbols and lyrics are provided, and you make your own arrangements. All of the songs are in the key of C. There will be accidentals in many of the pieces, making lever and pedal changes necessary, causing some pieces to be more difficult, especially for lever harp players. These books are a great way to learn how to use fake books.
