What is a fake book? Fake books are music books that include the melody line, lyrics and chord symbols, without accompaniment. You make your own arrangements using the melody and the chords. Fake books are great for pedal harp, piano, voice, guitar, and most instruments. Advanced lever harp players will find some pieces playable on their harps, although many pieces may require lever changes.
