For lever or pedal harp.

These 21 early Baroque English dance tunes, originally collected by John Playford, have been arranged by Ellen Tepper, Therese Honey and Darhon Rees-Rohrbacher. They are in the keys of C, G (1 sharp), or D (2 sharps). All of the accidentals for lever harps are pre-set at the beginning, so there are no lever changes within the music. Pedal harp changes are marked. Guitar chords and some fingerings are included. For advanced beginner to intermediate players. A range of only three and one-half octaves, from G up to C is needed to play these user-friendly arrangements. The table of contents includes what type of dance each piece is for (e.g. Longways for six, Round dance for six). A chart of the dance formation diagrams from Playford's English Dancing Master is also included. 22 pages of music.
