This book is written especially for harpers and contains practical information for all musicians. The Dorian arrangements are in the key of D Dorian (all naturals).
The additional Aeolian and Mixolydian Lead sheets use keys with Bb, F#, and C#.
All scores fall within the range starting with the lowest note of C below middle C through two Es above middle C (24 strings). All arrangements include lyrics and chord symbols. Most of the arrangements fit on two pages.
Every Dorian arrangement is followed by Aeolian and Mixolydian lead sheets for you to compare, differentiate, and add to your modal repertoire.
Each song is followed by one or two pages of notes. These notes contain some information about the song's history.
