Separate arrangements for lever and pedal harp.

Mastering excellent harmonics on the harp can be difficult. Jacqueline Pollauf's Exercises in Harmonics is an in-depth and thorough approach to harmonics. She has created two versions, one for lever harps tuned in the key of E-flat Major, and one for pedal harps. These PDFs offer a chance to focus intensely on harmonics, working through exercises that include playing harmonics in various keys, playing harmonics and natural notes, and playing multiple harmonics simultaneously.

The 31-page PDF for lever harps includes 28 exercises.
The 39-page PDF for pedal harps includes 36 exercises.

Jacqueline's "Exercises in Harmonics" video below corresponds with both the lever and the pedal harp PDF versions. Her second video is a general tutorial on playing harmonics.

These exercises are PDF files, to be downloaded to your computer. We do not sell them as regular printed music. They are only available here in this PDF download format.

I've done 4 of Jacqueline Pollauf's harp exercise books, and while I really loved them all, her "Exercises in Harmonics" is my favorite. Harmonics can be a "hit or miss" skill, and can evoke some trepidation. This book builds a skillset that cultivates confidence in both your placement and tone. Highly recommend.
