Here is how Kathleen Blackwell-Plank describes her Lullabies for Heart's Ease collections:
Lullabies are the intimate music of the home found in cultures throughout the world. These comforting songs establish a safe place and serve as a sleep aid. They call forth memories of multiple generations. Lullabies are portable. Like prayers or beloved stories, we can take them with us. For refugees they can reestablish a sense of home. My "Lullabies for Heart's Ease" collections offer the opportunity to travel the world and experience the beauty of lullabies. These arrangements explore the unique and beautiful tonal qualities of the harp.

Kathleen has made an intermediate arrangement for lever or pedal harp of the Ukrainian lullaby, Luli Luli, which tells of doves lighting on the baby's crib. The verses (provided in transliterated Ukrainian) contemplate how to feed the baby, maybe some honey, a bagel or sweet milk. This traditional tune in D minor (1-flat) utilizes special glissando techniques to suggest the flight of the doves. The downward facing crescent symbol indicates that the glissando is played with nails of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers. The fingers of the right hand are curved back (pointing at the player) and create a fluttering sound as the glissando is played. There are meter changes, occasional rolled chords, left-hand harmonics, and arpeggios.

This 7-page PDF includes 3 pages of music. The length is 3 minutes.
