This is a beautiful, lyrical collection of eight gentle original melodies by William Mahan for lower intermediate players.

Spring Prelude is a very sweet 3/4 melody in the key of C. 2 pages.

Just One Kiss of Spring is slow with a few large rolled major 7th chords. In the key of G (1 sharp) in 4/4/ time. 3 pages.

Spring Clouds begins in A minor, with a key change to F major (1 flat). There are four B-flat and four C lever changes within the music. 6 pages in 6/8 time.

Rain is in E minor (1 sharp). It is almost monotonous and excellent for meditation. 5 pages.

An April Lullaby is marked "tenderly." It is in 6/8 time in the key of G (1 sharp). 2 pages.

Good Morning to May is a lovely slow and simple tune in 3/4 time, in the key of G (1 sharp). 2 pages.

Here's to June has more drive than the preceding tunes. In 4/4 time, in the key of G (1 sharp). 2 pages.

Spring Nocturne, in 4/4 time, is very simple to play, with only a few full chords. It is in the key of C, and there are two easy F lever changes within the music. 2 pages.

Although a few low notes are found here and there, all of these pieces can easily be adapted to a harp with 29 strings or even 26.
