Fake Books, or Lead Sheets, are music books that include the melody line, lyrics and chord symbols, without accompaniment. You make your own arrangements using the melody and the chords.

This fake book of 50 pieces by Ray Pool is perfect repertoire for those who wish to play in the hospital / hospice / nursing home environments. As with all fake books, you create your own harp arrangement using the melody and chords provided. See Ray's video below for his detailed explanations of this book.

Ray uses a new format of "enhanced lead sheets" which consists of:
1. Clearly edited melody lines with full fingering
2. Accompanied by chord inversions within a ten-string range similar to chording on a guitar
3. Chord inversions are indicated by a second note placed beneath the melody line in a reduced size with its stem pointing down.
4. Entries are indicated by levels of complexity with (*) (**) or (***) in the index .
5. Key signatures are confined to C Major / A minor and G Major / E minor.
6. Only four entries require lever movements which are clearly marked.
7. Five pages of harmonic instruction and performance suggestions.
8. Fingerings included.
9. Designed for harps with 1 octave below middle C, or larger.
