For lever or pedal harp.

Fake Books, or Lead Sheets, are music books that include the melody line, lyrics and chord symbols, without accompaniment. You make your own arrangements using the melody and the chords.

This comprehensive book includes 100 hymn tunes in lead sheet format, playable on lever or pedal harps. Each hymn is 1-page long, and includes the melody, chord symbols, and 1 verse of lyrics. There are no fingerings or accompaniments. It will be valuable for any musician who plays in church settings, either as a soloist, or with other musicians. The hymns are taken from the current editions of Catholic, Episcopal, Presbyterian, Methodist, Congregational and Lutheran hymnals. 60 of the pieces are in flat keys, the rest are in C or sharp keys. The useful 13-page introduction teaches basic chords with suggestions on how to play from a lead sheet.

There are also four helpful indexes for easy reference according to: (1) Hymntune; (2) First line of text; (3) Key signature; and, (4) musical category according to difficulty and text instructions in the introduction.

This PDF is 128 pages.

The following is the list of tunes, with the first line of lyrics in parentheses.

This is one of my favorite books. It goes over chords and patterns in the beginning, and then you can make the music as hard or easy as you like! A good book to use with Sylvia's "Music Theory and Arranging Techniques" book.
