Write a reviewlovely arrangement

I have loved this song since I first heard it. I am intrigued by the songs from the Appalachian mountain folk. It is so haunting. I had been looking for an arrangement for this, and was excited to find Sylvia's version. I love all of Sylvia's arrangements, and have most of her books and sheet music. (and will eventually get them all!). Sylvia's arrangements are all are so playable, and I like the fingerings she chooses. This arrangement starts out with a very simple bass accompaniment to the melody, and then each verse is progressively more complex. This melodic song touches my heart. I include it in my program of lullabies. The fifths in the melody of this song are reminiscent of Wayfaring Stranger and Motherless Child, for which Sylvia arranged a "Spiritual Medley" in the same key, so I play the two arrangements together.
