Janie Taylor has created 20 easy/early intermediate arrangements of familiar Christmas carols. Four pieces are in the key of C, four are in F or D minor (1 flat), and twelve are in the key of G or E minor (1 sharp). Time signatures include 4/4, 3/4, 2/4, and 6/8. Guitar chords are included, but only a few fingerings. Lever changes are indicated between the staves. Techniques include harmonics, triplets, and thumb slides. Notes on the carols and lyrics are provided.

I love Christmas music! It's my favorite part of the holiday season. Over time, adding a few new carols each year, I built up a collection of my arrangements, which my students have urged me to publish. I aim for arrangements that are musical yet accessible and fairly easy to learn: easy on the harpist and easy on the listener.
Playing the harp has enriched my life beyond measure. I hope my pleasure shines through in this music. It's my intent that it would enrich you and your listeners with comfort and joy - - and hope and celebration - - of the season.
