The Musician's Guide to Brides
Posted By: Lisa Ferguson
This is a great reference book for musicians. I play hammered dulcimer . I liked her down to earth practical advice; she is up to date on current trends in the industry. For example how to set up your booth at a bridal show fair, how to promote yourself. What to put in a contract. Pricing and making contacts within the wedding industry. Easy to read and you can go right to the section that interests you. Marketing is such an important part of the music business. Who will hire you if they don't know about you?

Great Tips for Wedding Musicians
Posted By: Alice Freeman
I read "The Musician's Guide to Brides" cover-to-cover last year and got a lot of good tips for improving my Web site, setting up a bridal show booth, and redesigning my advertising flyers. Even as a harpist in business for the last 10 years, I still found useful information in her book. Yesterday I read Anne's new book "The Bride's Guide to Musicians" so I could get a good perspective on what my clients want from me and I picked up even more tips for helping my business. I love both of these books!
